Hardcore experimentalists Deaf Club have pulled their entire music catalog from Spotify, announcing the decision in a politically charged statement shared in both Spanish and English.
Read both statements below:
Original:
English Translation:
“Deaf Club will always be with the people. Supporting the human rights that all people deserve. We will continue hand in hand with workers and caretakers of the land fighting against the racist, exploitative, and imperialist culture of American Capitalism. We therefore remove our music from Spotify so as not to contribute to the war machine. Consider other music platforms. Follow us The Good Ones!”
The move comes just a few short months after Deaf Club released their second full-length album, We Demand a Permanent State of Happiness, initially released in September 2025, via Southern Lord and Three One G. Recorded by Alex Estrada and Luke Henshaw, and mastered by Nathan Joyner, the record expands their trademark blend of fast-paced aggression and experimental chaos.
