Following the earlier announcement of Behemoth frontman Nergal’s special Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic) performance with Icelandic black metal force Misþyrming, Beyond the Gates 2026 has announced the third wave of bands. Newly confirmed acts include Testament, Rotting Christ (performing an exclusive old-school set spanning 1989–1995), Alcest, and Iceland’s rising black metal outfit Vafurlogi, led by former Svartidauði guitarist Þórir Garðarsson. The four-day event returns to Bergen, Norway, from July 29 to August 1, 2026. Tickets are available at this location.
