September 12, 2025 Release Highlights:

Dance Gavin Dance, Pantheon (Rise):
The California rock band’s 11th studio effort is their first to feature Andrew Wells as their new lead vocalist. Drummer Matt Mingus said of the LP in a press release that it “has all the signature elements our fans have come to expect, along with fresh sounds and new styles that truly spotlight Andrew as our new vocalist. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride that is Pantheon.”

Silverstein, Pink Moon (UNFD):
The hardcore band releases the second half of their double album project, with the band saying the album’s single “Negative Space” that it “pushes everything on Antibloom even further: the chaos, the emotion, the dynamic contrast.”

Between the Buried and Me, The Blue Nowhere (InsideOut):
The progressive metalcore band’s 11th studio effort is more about “a feeling” than a story, with vocalist Tommy Rogers comparing it to “journal entries, fleeting and introspective thoughts – chaotic at times, depending on the music.”

Chameleons, Arctic Moon (Metropolis):
The UK rockers release their first new album in nearly 24 years, describing it as “a departure from the sound of earlier Chameleons albums, while remaining rooted in the same emotional depth, spirit, and intensity that has always defined their work. It represents a new chapter, and the band hopes it will resonate with long-time fans while also opening the door to a new generation of listeners.”

Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Innern (Season Of Mist):
The German black metal band returns with its sixth studio album, on which “the band turns inward with devastating clarity.” Their bandcamp bio continues, “Each of the six tracks offers a meditation on human fragility and existential transformation, shifting between blistering aggression and haunting serenity.”

Spinal Tap, The End Continues (Interscope):
The parody metal band releases a new album to coincide with the release of their new mockumentary. Their fourth LP includes new tracks as well as re-recordings of their classics featuring collaborations with Elton John, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Paul McCartney.

Teenage Bottlerocket, Ready to Roll (Pirates Press):
The punk band releases its 10th studio effort, putting out a record that “felt good to them.” Said the band, “No big agenda-just loud, fast, and fun in the way that’s always felt right to us.”
