Beyond the Gates festival has unveiled the first wave of bands for the 2026 edition, set to take place July 29–August 1 in Bergen, Norway. Leading the announcement, Emperor will deliver a special performance featuring returning members Mortiis and Faust. The show will be held at Grieghallen, the legendary venue where the band recorded their landmark albums In the Nightside Eclipse (1994) and Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk (1997).
Joining the bill are 1349, Arcturus, Misotheist, Imha Tarikat, The Ruins of Beverast, Spectral Wound, Warning, Forteresse, Sulphur Aeon, and Concrete Winds. More artists will be revealed in the coming months. Tickets are available at this location.
