Guitarist Scott Middleton of Cancer Bats has announced his departure from the band. The band, also known as “Bat Sabbath,” have postponed their upcoming shows.
An amicable parting of ways was described by Middleton in this Twitter statement,

Cancer Bats then responded with this statement:
“We wish Scott all the best in his future endeavours.
This is by no means the end of
Cancer Bats.
The 3 of us will continue on this sonic path of destruction, heading into the studio soon to start tracking CB7
Due to Scotts departure, we are going to be postponing all shows for the rest of the year.
Thank you for your understanding and we can wait to see you all next year!!!!
