Yesterday, we reported that Queens Of The Stone Age was planning to perform their self-titled debut in its entirety, along with b-sides and rarities, on an upcoming Spring tour. This comes just in time for the 1998 album’s reissue, set to arrive March 1 via frontman Josh Homme’s own Rekords Rekords. And now precise dates for the club/theater tour have been revealed and can be seen below. Kind of ironic, though, that the band is playing the self titled album now considering that Josh Homme is the only original member to have actually played on it and to be a part of said album’s “lineup” (QOTSA trivia fact: though he appears on the album art and is featured in a “phone message” at the end of the album, bassist Nick Oliveri doesn’t actually perform on it). Regardless, this should be a special show for any hardcore QOTSA fan, as the first album was a great debut, and the band has morphed and changed a bit with every album.
