Butcher Babies is working on a new album. The announcement was made in a post by co-vocalist Carla Harvey’s Instagram, who wrote:

“We’re holed up in the studio making new @butcherbabies for you. Who’s excited?”

Over the last month or so, the band has been subtly hinting at new music, using the hashtag “bb4” in a number of their recent social media posts.

The new, as-yet-untitled album will be Butcher Babies’ fourth studio effort. It is the direct follow-up to the band’s last full-length, Lilith, which was released in 2017. That album was the first to feature new drummer Chase Brickenden, who joined the band in 2016, and signaled what co-vocalist Heidi Shepherd told Psycho Babble TV was a “rebirth” for them.

Butcher Babies are set to perform at this year’s Pain In The Grass Festival in Auburn, WA on August 3 along with Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Corrosion of Conformity, and more. The band does not currently have any other scheduled tour dates.
