This past Friday (30th), a horrific tragedy has struck as a fan died at Bring Me the Horizon’s show at the Alexandra Palace in London. All Things Loud reported two deaths. However, the death of Ali Mills was confirmed as the second is currently being verified.
The group addressed the news via Instagram, stating:
“Words cannot express how horrified we are feeling this evening after hearing about the death of a young man at our show last night. Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones at this terrible time. We will comment further in due course.”
Fans have complained about the fan’s death via Twitter, citing a lack of security:

ThePRP has shared a series of since-deleted tweets from SHVPES vocalist Griffin Dickinson on the tragedy:
“Last night at a BMTH show I saw a kid die. He was carried out by 3 dudes & paramedics tried to resuscitate him to no avail. Please please please look out for people around you. Don’t leave it up for someone else. If someone looks unwell, CHECK on them… 1/2”
“In any situation, on a tube, at a gig, whatever. I feel like British ‘awkwardness’ gets in the way of helping people. Don’t be afraid to call an ambulance. Don’t act like it ain’t your business. ACT on it. Rest in peace to that dude. Thoughts are with his family rn.”
Meanwhile, the venue clarified via Twitter stating there were over 150 security personnel on the site for the concert:
“A medical incident occurred at last night’s Bring Me The Horizon concert. Our thoughts and condolences are with the individual’s family and we would like to express our deepest sympathy to them. We hope you can appreciate we cannot provide any further comment at this time.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said to NME:
“We were called at 9.48pm on Friday (November 30) to reports of a person unwell at Alexandra Palace in north London. We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic and our hazardous area response team to the scene. Our first medic arrived in less than three minutes. Sadly the patient died at the scene.”
An official cause of death has not been revealed. Our thoughts go out to the fan’s friends and family during this difficult time.
