If there’s a Powerman 5000-shaped hole in your heart, know that Cane Hill are here to fill it. The New Orleans band are set to hit the road with Bullet for my Valentine and Asking Alexandria starting May 3rd, and with last year’s self-titled EP and some touring under their belt, are set to release their debut full-length, Smile, in July. For those BFMV fans wondering what they’re in store for is they show up early, the band have just released a video for “(The New) Jesus.” With Bullet the elder band in the lineup, it’s pretty obvious that Cane Hill have been influenced by bands like Static-X, Coal Chamber and older Marilyn Manson. If you’re into that, then you’ll like this band. If you’re not a nu-metal fan, then you might want to give this wide berth. You can see where the tour will be hitting here.
Smile will be out on Rise Records on July 15th. It can be pre-ordered here.
