Last year, Arch Enemy performed at Loudpark in Saitaba, Japan and during that show, the group was joined on stage by the rest of the original founding members, singer Johan Liiva and Christopher Amott. The first original lineup made Arch Enemy’s first three records Black Earth, Stigmata and Burning Bridges, which are a great three albums, and the guys know that, so they decided to form a new project to play them all called Black Earth.

Guitarist Michael Amott commented about the band:

“[It’s] very awesome to finally announce this new project BLACK EARTH, which will perform ARCH ENEMY‘s first three albums material live on stage. Old-school ’90s lineup. An extensive tour of Japan in May announced today!”

Black Earth already confirmed their first official tour through and Japan and, if that’s successful enough, we may be able to see them in America and Europe. Check out the dates confirmed below and get an idea on how the band sounds either by listening to the first records or checking the video at the bottom.
