Metallica have released a newly remastered lyric video for “Hero of the Day,” the second track shared from their upcoming deluxe box set reissue of Load, due out June 13. Remastered by Reuben Cohen with oversight from longtime collaborator Greg Fidelman, this updated version follows last week’s release of the remastered “Until It Sleeps.” The Load box set will feature an expansive 301 tracks, including 245 previously unreleased cuts. The remastered edition is available for pre-order at this location.
In addition, the band has unveiled professionally filmed live videos of “One” and “Creeping Death,” captured during their April 19 performance at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, NY. The show marked Metallica’s first of 2025 and drew a record-breaking crowd of over 47,500, surpassing the venue’s previous attendance record held by The Who in 1982.
