Metallica’s new Apple Immersive concert experience, simply titled Metallica, will be available exclusively on Apple Vision Pro starting this Friday (14), free for all users.
Filmed during their September 2024 Mexico City apperance, the experience features full performances of “Whiplash,” “One,” and “Enter Sandman” in Apple Immersive Video. Bringing technology to a new level, promised to deliver ultra-high-resolution 180-degree visuals and Spatial Audio. The footage was captured using a custom stage setup with 14 immersive cameras, including stabilized rigs, cable-suspended cameras, and remote-controlled dolly systems.
To coincide with the concert film, Metallica will release a new EP, Metallica Live From Mexico City, in Spatial Audio on Apple Music this Friday (14). Watch Metallica on Apple Vision Pro starting this Friday (14th) via this location.
