Ozzy Osbourne is one of the great pioneers of heavy metal. Born in Birmingham, England as John Michael Osbourne, he is one of the most successful and most iconic artists in heavy metal music history. He rose to prominence in the 1970s as the lead vocalist of Black Sabbath and came known as the ‘Prince of Darkness’ during this time.

In both Black Sabbath and in his solo career, Ozzy Osbourne’s songs have been featured in movies and TV shows. The genre is consistently popular for use in soundtracks, with other big names such as Metallica also regularly being heard alongside the action taking place on-screen. Their songs have been featured in popular films such as Zombieland and Mission Impossible: II, and also in video games such as Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour.Songs by Ozzy have been featured in many soundtracks since the late eighties and early nineties. He’s also featured on the video game Guitar Hero and sang the awesome theme tune for the TV show Dog The Bounty Hunter. Crazy Train

According to IMDb, Ozzy Osbourne has featured on many film, TV show, and video game soundtracks over the years.
One of the most popularly used songs on soundtracks is Crazy Train. The song was first released in 1980 as part of Ozzy’s first solo album known as Billiards of Ozz. The song was featured in several TV commercials, including a Honda commercial in 2012. The ad became very popular so fast because it featured one of the most popular songs of all time.

Crazy Train has been used in popular US shows such as The Office and The Simpsons. It was also featured in many big films such as Ghost Rider and Magic Mike XXL. Most recently, it was used in the 2020 film Trollz World Tour. 


Iron Man
This song was written and performed by Black Sabbath and it was released in 1970 as part of the album Paranoid.
One of the most fitting uses of this song is when it featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Iron Man (2008). No song quite matches Tony Stark’s personality, and the film, than this one.

Iron Man has also been a popular song that has starred in tv shows like The Simpsons and Beavis & Butt-Head. For a film that is so full of incredible songs, it also featured on the School of Rock soundtrack alongside songs by KISS, The Doors, AC/DC, Metallica, and many more. 


This year, Ozzy and his wife Sharon are set to star with their son Jack in a new paranormal show, The Osbournes Want To Believe, airing August 2nd. Some paranormal films and drama shows have also featured the popular song Paranoid.

Last year, it featured in an episode of the creepy tv show American Horror Story: 1984 and also in the Dark Shadows film in 2012. Paranoid is one of the most popular songs by Black Sabbath that was released in 1980. Since its debut, it’s been featured in big films over the years including Kong: Skull Island, Suicide Squad, The Angry Birds Movie, and more.
