Kreator had their first show with bassist Frédéric Leclercq over the weekend on Saturday (5th) at Teatro La Cupula in Santiago, Chile and on Sunday (6th) at Santiago Gets Louder. Leclercq recently quit Dragonforce to “pursue other projects,” which we soon found out he replaced longtime bassist Christian “Speesy” Giesler and officially joined the German thrash metal outfit.
You can watch the fan filmed footage from the group’s first show with their new bassist below:
On Saturday (5th), Leclercq expressed his excitement via social media with the following:
First show with @kreator in a few hours. It’s a very important day for me, my career, but also for the band and for the fans. A new chapter is about to start! #kreator #thrashmetal #onwardsandupwards pic.twitter.com/RkhI6l6lnp
