In the wake of travel restrictions plaguing the annual Psycho Las Vegas Festival causing them to lose such international acts as, Emperor, Satyricon, Mayhem, Watain, MGLA, and Crippled Black Phoenix, organizers have added Mastodon, Vio-Lence, Mutoid Man, Goatwhore, and Knocked Loose to Friday’s bill. August 20th will see Mastodon headline the massively restructured bill, as ticket holders breathe a sigh of relief. Although the festival is awarding refunds to anyone who wants one, these additions just may stem the tide of reimbursement from organizers.

Highlights of the event will include:

DANZIG will perform Danzig II: Lucifuge in its entirety, an exclusive set for Psycho Las Vegas.

DOWN will perform their debut album NOLA in its entirety to commemorate the record’s 25th anniversary.

GZA, founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, will perform his debut solo album Liquid Swords in its entirety, with a live band, to commemorate its 25th anniversary.

EXHORDER will commemorate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Slaughter in the Vatican, by performing it in its entirety.

THE FLAMING LIPS and THIEVERY CORPORATION will perform as part of Psycho’s well-known penchant to providing fans with curveball performances and unexpected bookings.

DOC MCGHEE, longtime manager of KISS, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, and Scorpions, will provide fans the opportunity to ask him about his life as a legend in the industry during an exclusive Friday “Ask Doc” Q&A.

Comedian TIM DILLON will perform an hour-long set, as the sole comedian to perform this year.

The festival runs from August 20th through the 22nd with the Psycho Swim pre event on Thursday August 19th.
