Metallica’s James Hetfield has donated his collection of ten custom cars to the Petersen Automotive Museum. Hagerty reports, the announcement was made during the museum’s annual press conference at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Hetfield was also named as a founding member of the museum, which is an honor reserved for its most generous donors. Hetfield’s cars are scheduled to go on display in February 2020 in the museum’s Bruce Meyer Family Gallery. Additionally, there will be artifacts and memorabilia from Hetfield and Metallica’s private collections.

Hetfield’s car collection includes the following:

Voodoo Priest, based on a ’37 Lincoln Zephyr, a ’36 Auburn roadster named Slow Burn, a Delahaye inspired ’34 Packard, Aquarius, a ’36 Ford in bare metal called Iron Fist,  a purple ’56 Ford F-100 pickup truck, and three cars by custom fabricator Rick Dore: Black Pearl, a custom 1948 Jaguar, a ’52 Olds named Grinch, and Skyscraper, a 1953 Buick Skylark.

Speaking of donations, Metallica have recently donated 250,000 euros ($279,000 USD) to a Romanian association building the country’s first pediatric oncology hospital. The donation to Daruieste Viata (Give Life) nonprofit came ahead of the group’s sold-out show at the National Arena in Bucharest, Romania on Wednesday (14th).

According to Reuters, the donation was made through the band’s non-profit foundation, All WIthin My Hands.

Metallica have recently released a handful of videos featuring guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo’s doodles from their shows in Tartu, Copenhagen, Hämeenlinna, Trondheim, and Moscow.
