Metallica’s historical performance at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA celebrating S&M2, the 20th anniversary of these legends’ iconic 1999 S&M concert will hit the big screen for one-night-only on October 9th. While James Hetfield’s condition remains uncertain, watching their incredible concert could be emotional as the entire metal community have been supporting Papa Het to have a healthy recover. 

Today (3rd), these giants have unveiled pro-shot footage of “The Memory Remains,” which was shot during the group’s S&M2 concert on September 6th and 8th.

“On October 9, 2019, Trafalgar Releasing presents S&M2, a must-see celebration of the 20th anniversary of Metallica’s groundbreaking S&M concerts and album recorded with the San Francisco Symphony.  See them once again perform with the Symphony as legendary conductor Michael Tilson Thomas leads a portion of the show, kicking off his final season in San Francisco. Recorded live on September 6th and 8th, the shows also commemorate the opening of the state-of-the-art Chase Center, a historic addition to the city’s waterfront.
