Epica/MaYaN’s Mark Jansen has been very busy this year. Jansen has been spending a lot of time on the road supporting MaYan’s latest effort Dhyana by making several festival appearances including  this year’s 70000tons of Metal, which we thought was one of the ten most impressive performances. While it seems MaYaN has a little bit of a break before their next show, Jansen has spent some of his “free” time by teasing Epica fans with an image via Instagram dropping a hint that the group are possibly (hopefully) in the studio working on the follow-up to 2016’s The Holographic Principle.

During this time, MaYaN decided to treat their fans with a music video for the song “The Power Process.”

Vocalist Marcela Bovio commented:

“We’re very excited to share with you our new videoclip ‘The Power Process’! We had the pleasure of working again with Arno de Haas, who also directed the videoclip of ‘Saints Don’t Die’. Can you guess who the story was inspired by? :)”
