When talking about cover bands with dreamy members your girlfriend probably has posters of, you probably think about Hollywood Vampires, the cover band featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry. The project started at some point last year and even released a record with a bunch of other high caliber musicians like Paul McCartney and Dave Grohl among many others and, after successfully playing at the Grammys this year and their show in Rock in Rio, the decided to take things more serious and revealed a new set of dates to tour across North America.

Aside from the previously mentioned celebrities, the band will also feature other musicians like drummer Matt Sorum (the Cult, Guns N’ Roses), guitarist Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper’s band) and pianist, percussionist and guitarist Bruce Witkin (Johnny Depp’s group the Kids). During the many performances by the band in the past, Duff McKagan was the one playing bass but now that he’s too busy playing with Guns N’ Roses the trio recruited Stone Temple Pilots’ Robert DeLeo for the job.

Joe Perry stated the following about the tour:

“Here is a gang of friends who came together really by chance and over the last year we were finally able to wrangle our schedules and the energy just fell into place, Playing with this lineup is like a dream come true. After seeing the reaction at Rock in Rio [in Brazil] in front of 100,000 fans, I know this band is going to tear the house down. Hell, I would want to be in the audience to see us rip it up.”
