bloodbath_2014_306Supergroup Bloodbath have been waving the death metal flag for  16 years now, but haven’t been able to keep a consistent vocalist. That being said, with Hypocrisy’s Peter Tagtgren and Opeth’s Mikael Akerfeldt holding down the gig, it can’t be said that they haven’t had some high profile singers. That continues with their forthcoming album, Grand Morbid Funeral, and its vocalist, Paradise Lost frontman Nick Holmes. Today, the band has unveiled “Unite In Pain,” the first taste of the album, via Metal Hammer. It’s heavy, fast, and an instant attention getter, regardless of the vocals. That said, Holmes sounds great. Here’s the track listing for the Grand Morbid Funeral, which will be released on November 17 on Peaceville in the UK and a day later in the states:

Let The Stillborn Come To Me
Total Death Exhumed
Anne
Church Of Vastitas
Famine Of God`s Word
Mental Abortion
Beyond Cremation
His Infernal Necropsy
Unite In Pain
My Torturer
Grand Morbid Funeral
