With their much anticipated Sol Invictus album due out next week, Faith No More made an appearance on, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” They played “Superhero” from the new album, and as a web-exclusive they covered “Easy” by the Commodores, of course.

In a 1993 interview in Billboard, bassist Billy Gould said, “it feels really good to have a couple of thousand people flipping you off,” explaining why the band starting playing “Easy” during their live set. “Warner Bros. has been marketing us as a rock band;” explained Gould, “we like to think we’re other things, too.”

“Easy,” of course, made it onto Faith No More’s 1992 album, Angel Dust, and they even shot a music video for the song.

Sol Invictus comes out May 19th and can pre-ordered here.
