bring-me-the-horizon-tour-dates

If you’re a fan of metalcore, or have been over the past decade or so, you’re already looking forward to 2017. That’s because the current, present and past of the genre will be hitting the road on “The American Nightmare Tour” next March. Bring me the Horizon, who have graduated from deathcore to an arena-filling radio-friendly band with their current That’s the Spirit album, will be hitting the States. With them, they’ll bring the recently-reunited Underoath, who’s 2004 album They’re Only Chasing Safety was one of the standard-bearers of the genre. Opening will be Beartooth, whose Caleb Shomo honed his craft as the leader of Attack Attack!

If the video shot last week of their current UK tour is any indication, the band have stepped up their arena show. And while they’re not quite to the point of headlining an actual arena just yet in the States, they’ve reached that status overseas, and are playing some pretty big rooms here. While the perennial question of who the next arena headliners might be has been around for years, BMTH just might be one of those bands that will become impossible to ignore as one of the answers.
