Last year’s Dimebash saw members of Slayer, Machine Head, and many others shared the stage for one night to pay tribute to the late Dimebag Darrell.  And it looks like organizers are going to top themselves, as details regarding this year’s Dimebash have been revealed.

Already slated to appear at this year’s Dimebash are musicians like Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Serj Tankian (System Of A Down), Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), Duff McKagan (ex-Guns N’ Roses), David Draiman (Disturbed) and many others. Plus, the event will also feature performances from Dio Disciples (featuring Tim “Ripper” Owens and members of the late Ronnie James Dio’s backing band) and Kill Devil Hill (ex-Pantera/Down bassist Rex Brown’s new band with Heaven & Hell/ Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice). It’s pretty cool to see one of Dimebag’s former bandmates taking part in the event, and chances are Brown will probably take part in a Pantera cover that night as well (you may remember that Philip Anselmo almost made a surprise appearance at last year’s Dimebash).

This year’s Dimebash will take place at The Key Club in West Hollywood on December 14. All proceeds from the special show will benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up & Shout Cancer Fund. Tickets can be purchased via The Key Club’s website. You can check out a full rundown of musicians confirmed to appear at this year’s Dimebash after the jump.
